Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) mandates go into effect for employers with 100 or more employees on January 1, 2015, but are based on employee service hours in 2014. Companies with 50-99 employees have an extended grace period of one year, and are required to comply by January 1, 2016.
